Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy sets out what may and may not be sold through Shira stores, and how we handle violations. It is part of the Terms & Conditions and the Merchant Agreement.

1. Prohibited products and services

You may not list or sell:

  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives and their parts, and fireworks.
  • Narcotics, psychotropic substances and paraphernalia for their use.
  • Alcoholic beverages.
  • Tobacco and tobacco products.
  • Prescription-only medicines, and unlicensed medicines and supplements.
  • Counterfeit, stolen or smuggled goods, or any product that infringes a trademark or other intellectual property right.
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content.
  • Unlicensed gambling, betting and lotteries.
  • Forged official documents or fake certificates, and hacking or account-theft tools.
  • Other people's personal data, and stolen or compromised accounts and subscriptions.
  • Protected animals or their products.
  • Unlicensed money transfer or currency exchange services, pyramid schemes and get-rich-quick offers.
  • Any product or service prohibited by applicable law.

2. Honest listings

The merchant agrees that:

  • Product photos, description and price match what the customer actually receives.
  • The condition of the product is stated clearly (new, used, refurbished).
  • No fake discount or price the merchant does not actually sell at is advertised.
  • No fake reviews are posted for the merchant's own store or against another.

3. Dealing with customers

  • Use customer data only to fulfil their orders and communicate about them; never sell or share it.
  • Send marketing messages (SMS, WhatsApp or email) only to people who agreed to receive them.
  • Answer customer enquiries, and fulfil paid orders or cancel them with a refund.

4. Use of the platform

It is prohibited to: try to access other stores' data, disrupt or overload the service, scan for vulnerabilities without written permission, or open multiple stores to get around an earlier suspension.

5. Reporting and enforcement

Anyone can report a store that breaks this policy through the contact page. Depending on how serious a violation is, we may: ask for a change, hide the product, suspend the store temporarily, or close it permanently. We tell the merchant the reason where possible, unless the law prevents it or the notice would put others at risk.

6. Changes

We may update this policy, and we publish the date of the last update at the top of the page.
